Nesti is a dynamic not for profit housing provider spanning Community Housing, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Repairs and Maintenance, and Real Estate. We’re dedicated to collaborating with individuals seeking housing, their support networks, investors, and developers to deliver quality property, tenancy, and asset management services.  This newly created role will be responsible for maintaining up‑to‑date service agreements, processing claims efficiently and monitoring payments to prevent income loss.

This is a collaborative role that focuses on building strong internal relationships within Nesti, as well as external stakeholders including our investors.

The incumbent has the exciting opportunity to use their strong financial acumen and initiative to continuously improve our claims and communications processes to make certain everything runs seamlessly, whilst ensuring ongoing compliance with NDIS and SDA legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage service agreements and claims end-to-end ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
  • Maintain accurate tenant and funding information by interpreting plans, applying correct claim rates, indexation, and price increases
  • Monitor claims activity and agreements proactively, including daily oversight of service agreement expiry, reinstatement requirements, and audit readiness.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholder to resolve claims issues, payment delays, errors, and manual claim enquiries.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including plan managers, self-managed participants, the NDIS, property managers, and property owners, to ensure invoices, payments, and enquiries are resolved efficiently.
  • Oversee financial accuracy and reconciliations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for claims, providing high-quality customer service and subject-matter expertise across all claims-related matters.
  • Develop and improve claims processes, in collaboration with the Housing Engagement Manager, to enhance efficiency, compliance, and workflow effectiveness.
  • Other duties to support the success of Nesti Housing 

About You:

You will have experience in a similar claims or administration role, combined with highly developed financial acumen and your love of numbers to ensure accuracy and compliance in the role. Experience applying NDIS price limits, indexation, and reconciling payments against service bookings or invoices is highly desirable.

Working in a small supportive team, your ability to genuinely collaborate, proactively communicate and step in to help when required is key to your success in the role.  Following initial support and training, you will strive to develop your knowledge to become Nesti’s ‘claims expert’ and be in a position to share your knowledge internally and externally.
