Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept it):
The Operations Administrator supports the daily operations and administration across all areas of Nesti Housing. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient workflows, supporting operational processes, administration, compliance, leave coverage, office reception and enquiry management contributing to the delivery of excellent services to our tenants and stakeholders.
The Daily: What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide administrative support to the operations teams, including document management, reporting, scheduling, and coordination of activities.
- Maintain accurate records and data, coordinate compliance reporting requirements, records management including ongoing maintenance and management of internal IT systems.
- Be the point of contact for tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders visiting the office, managing all email and phone inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency, including the management of work orders, purchase orders, and maintenance requests.
- Provide coverage and backfill for team members across operational roles as needed, ensuring continuity of services and minimal disruption to operations.
- Assist with rent review processes, follow ups, property inspections/ad hoc property visits, reporting and administrative support to the property management team.
- Prepare, monitor and follow up contract documents for clients, service providers, tenants, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Assist with budget tracking, SDA claims monitoring and follow up, vacancy monitoring, invoice processing, and reconciliation tasks, working closely with the finance team.

The Essentials:
- Proven experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably within a housing, property management, or similar environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage various administrative functions efficiently, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and proactively to address challenges, demonstrating effective problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points If you have:
- Knowledge of Community Housing, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and real estate.
- Experience with property and asset management software and systems.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the housing sector.
Other Employment Requirements:
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Current Australian driver’s license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
